Awesome food, had really comfortable stay.
The location was great and beautiful, for example, a 90 - ft - deep cave was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Enjoyed my excellent stay for the 2 nights we were there. The location was excellent, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Mount Gambier Railway Lands. The place was located off the main road.

we recently stayed at the commodore motel and had a wonderful experience. the location was ideal, making it easy to drive around and take a pleasant walk to the main street. our room was spacious and clean, with a super comfortable bed and a nice bathroom featuring great toiletries. the restaurant offered delicious meals, and the staff were friendly and helpful, even recalling our previous visits. it was a perfect base for our family getaway.
A few minor issues, like hard pillows 😕.

The hotel is conveniently located near parks, restaurants, and fast-food shops. The property is also close to a Car Park. The double room was reasonably priced, and I really liked it. The room had a spacious bathroom with a shower, hair dryers, and bath sheets.

I read on the web that the pool was heated which one of the reason we chose to stay there. The kids were excited but to their disappointment the pool was freezing.

The welcome staff was friendly while checking in and checking out.
The rooms are spacious but old and a little decrepit. Our room smelled of off milk that the previous occupier must have spilt on the floor. It was still there on the tiles by the fridge and had not been mopped up properly... The carpets had deep stains and the bed covers looked a little worn. You're really expecting a bit more for the price that the Commodore charges... The location itself isn't bad, but you might find that the noise of the busy roads disturbs your sleep a little if you don't have ear plugs.

I was impressed by the evident attention to detail that the renovations have included. I stayed in a studio room at the front of the property and expected some traffic noise overnight but was pleasantly surprised that this was not a problem at all. The room was extremely comfortable the fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. A very pleasant overnight stay.
Nothing of significance.

The location is in a nice area, close to a shopping area and supermarket. Took a walk around the city center, not too far from the hotel. Truly enjoyed the big rooms with 3 beds.
